Are all 4 of the video outputs on the Binloop HD always on?
Yes. The analog component, HDMI, and HD-SDI outputs will always display the currently configured Video Output Format (which is 1080i by default). The composite video output will always display a Standard-Definition mixdown of the HD output. No configuration necessary.
Can I play files from the DVM-8400 on a Digital Binloop HD?
Yes. The Digital Binloop HD can play DVM8400 video and playlist files. However, the Binloop does not support schedules.
Do the HDMI outputs and HD-SDI connectors output audio?
Yes. The HDMI connector will output S/PDIF audio or a surround sound bitstream (i.e. Dolby Digital) depending on what type of audio is encoded in the video file. The HD-SDI output will only embed audio when playing 2-channel audio formats.
Is my Digital Video Machine compatible with a DLP or D-ILA digital projector?
The Digital Binloop HD, DVM/HD (legacy and model 8400HD) and DVM2 both include analog component video outputs that are fully compatible with digital projectors that provide corresponding inputs.
