How do I control the Binloop using RS232?

If you don't have an Alcorn McBride show controller, but you still want some control over the Binloop, you have to use MIDI Show Control formatted commands.  You can find these commands in the Binloop Manual.  Make sure you check these three things:

1.  Jumpers on the controller card must be set for RS232 operation and RS232 port.  This will allow the Binloop to accept Show Control commands using the RS232 port instead of the MIDI port and at a PC baud rate of 38400.

2.  Set your serial device for 38400 baud, 8 data bits, No parity, 1 stop bit, no hardware flow control

3.  Use the Binloop Configuration software to select the "MIDI" selection for "Control Port Protocol" found under Unit settings and download this configuration to the Binloop
