How can I play video from multiple DVM2s in sync?

You'll need to connect all the DVM2s together using the sync circuit on the rear of the units. Connect the Video output (bottom, left BNC connector) of the first DVM2 to the sync input (top, right BNC connector) of the second DVM2. Connect the sync output (bottom, right BNC connector) of the second DVM2 to the sync input of the third DVM2. Daisy chain the sync signal through to all of the following DVM2s. Note: If your serial number begins with 5324, 0207,0588, or 3380 you should use the 'Gen' output (top, left BNC connector) instead of the 'video' output. If you are using an Alcorn McBride Show Controller, you should connect the sync output of the last DVM2 to the C-Sync input of the controller. This will ensure that the frame clocks of all the equipment are locked together. Reference page 6-5 of our http://www.alcorn.com/library/manuals/index.html Show Control User's Guide entitled Synchronized LaserDisc Scripting for information on controlling your DVM2s in sync. If you are not using an Alcorn McBride Show Controller, and your controller does not have a sync input, you will need to turn on the 75 Ohm termination switch of the last DVM2 in the daisy chain. Please note that if your controller's frame clock is not locked to that of the DVM2s, you WILL experience a one frame separation between DVM2s occasionally. If you have further questions not answered in the http://www.alcorn.com/library/manuals/index.html Show Control User's Guide or the DVM2 Manual, please contact our mailto:support@alcorn.com Technical Support Department.
