What kind of surround sound do you play?
Dolby 5.1 is available on the digital audio output of the DVM2 and the DVM/HD. It comes out as a digital bitstream which can be connected to an external decoder to provide analog left, center, right, left and right surround, and sub-woofer tracks. There are inexpensive consumer decoders for only a couple hundred dollars that will do the job just fine, or you can use a professional theater decoder.
