Can a V16+ or V4+ be the 'brain' for an entire facility?
Any of our show controllers has sufficient computing power to process hundreds of events per frame. Devices can be controlled completely asynchronously, so a single controller can handle several attractions within a given area. The limiting factor is generally I/O, not processing speed. You facility should be designed so that equipment is reasonably convenient to what it is controlling, to make maintenance easier. It should also be wired in such a way as to reduce vulnerability to lighting and exterior cable cuts. For that reason, we usually use one controller in each building, as a minimum. For simple attractions, this could be something as small as an InterActivator.
