This adapter can be used to quickly load content to U.2 NVMe media drives

Although content can be transferred to storage media using the Ethernet interface of the Alcorn McBride product, direct drive access is still the fastest way to load terabytes of uncompressed video content. This adapter allows you to remove the U.2 NVMe drive from your BinloopX BX-4KU video module and interface it directly with your Windows or OSX computer. Using USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt 3.0, you computer can then transfer files quickly to the drive.
